The Tides of Welcome is a welcoming, inclusive, community based choir in Queenscliff who enjoy the experience of singing together.

Choir Director

Wayne Jury, became our Choir Director just before the Covid 19 Pandemic changed our way of life and the manner in which choirs operate. Wayne has ensured that we rode the pandemic wave, it's ebbs and flows and made us all the stronger for it. We have gone through live rehearsals with and without masks, Zoom rehearsals and even produced a collective video compilation of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi". He has shown his true resilience, as not only our choir director, but also that of an independent Blues artist when gigs for both were set up and, at the eleventh hour, cancelled due to restrictions. We look forward to performing under Wayne's direction at our earliest convenience - so what this space!

Our History |
Tides of Welcome has been operating for over a decade through which time members, directors and enthusiast have come and gone. However we have always had the wider community as our heart and the Queenscliff Community House as our heart beat.
